Member Agencies

Member Agencies provide food assistance in partnership with the Rhode Island Community Food Bank through various non-profit programs.  Currently there are nearly 300 programs within our network of partner agencies serving the food needs of struggling Rhode Islanders. Our network of agencies includes emergency programs such as food pantries, meal sites, and shelters throughout the state. The network also includes non-emergency providers such as group homes, daycare and senior centers and transitional housing programs.

As member agencies of the Food Bank, agencies have access to supportive resources to assist them in their efforts to eliminate hunger by restoring dignity and empowerment to the individuals that they serve within their communities.  The Food Bank offers its members:

  • Quality food and non-food products
  • Educational and technical food program assistance which includes choice food distribution models
  • Support in increasing hunger awareness and related funding needs from sectors of the local business and civic community
  • Networking opportunities among other member agencies and anti-hunger partners throughout Rhode Island
